  • CCrISP & START Overview for COVID-19

    CCrISP & START overview webinar

On 9 April, CCrISP & START programme lead Steve Cavanagh, vascular and transplant surgeon Ben Lindsey and anaesthesia and intensive care medicine consultant David Yates recorded the following webinar to discuss the resources available on RCS's Covid-19 resource bank and the applicability of these assets to medical professionals of a variety of specialities. In addition to providing insight into how these materials should be approached and who might benefit most from which materials, this resource includes an adapted version of the introductory lecture from the CCrISP course. It is a valuable overview of the systematic approach to patient assessment taught on both CCrISP and START courses that we hope medical professionals of any stripe will find useful and reassuring in the high-pressure environment created by Covid-19.

Advice in the treatment of patients of Covid-19 is rapidly changing. We strongly advise in addition to the material in this resource bank, you refer to the latest guidance by PHE and NICE guidelines.

Whilst the advice and information in this Resource Bank are believed to be true and accurate at the date of publishing, neither the author[s] nor the publisher can accept any legal responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions that may be made.
